From Billie Webb, Author and Artist

	Hello! I am Billie Webb.
	I write and illustrate coloring books, apps and simple rhyming books for children. You can see my products here. I maintain an Author Page on Amazon.com, too.
	Children, ages 2 to 5 are the core of my fan club. The one exception is the book “Emergency Last Tuesday at Two,” which is about a serious school fire during school hours, and has emerged as a book that is appealing to a wider audience. Teachers appreciate the presentation of the fire drill process, and boys, particularly, seem intrigued by the school bus and fire truck.
	I have discovered that small children are quite tickled with the encounter between Gage and his mother in “Red Cat, Red Cat, Red Cat, Blue.” It is a joy to hear a 3 year old giggle when Gage discovers that his mommy has two more cats in her purse!
	I first began writing and doodling when I became a comic strip artist in 1983. My strip, “Kincade,” ran everyday in the Fort Bend County Herald Coaster newspaper in south Texas. Although I wrote the strip for people of all ages, it was the children who loved Kincade the most. And this has never changed: children always seem to enjoy my work more than any other demographic.The Billie Webb series, which is available right now, is a series of picture books that I originally wrote and illustrated for private use (for children in my family). But out of love and appreciation for the many children who have expressed fondness for my work, I am happy to share them with the public, too: for the children!
